• Verbs of Arabic origin end in -E, -I or -U.

The Negative Infinitive

Kutofikiri	to think	Kutokurudi	not to return; not to come back
Kutofurahi	not to rejoice	Kutosafiri	not to travel
Kutoharibu	not to destroy	Kutosamehe	not to forgive
Kutoanguka	not to fall	Kutokuona	not to see

• Again, the negative infinitive is made by inserting the infix -TO- between the infinitive prefix KU- and the radical of the verb.

• An extra KU-, is sometimes added before the radical.
